Hotel Chocolat is a UK based retailer and manufacturer of luxury chocolate with over 100 stores operating in the UK, St Lucia, Denmark, Hong Kong, Japan, Ireland and the USA.  We grow cocoa, make chocolate and run our own stores, cafes and restaurants. 

So what! And why bother? This is the story of ‘the Velvetiser’ - the concept that allows customers to make barista grade hot chocolate at home. I plan to cover our innovation journey, why our customers care and how all of this helps farmers in West Africa.
